Prerequisites for Deleting Your Account
Before deleting your account, review the following requirements and recommendations:
Download Backups of All Sites (recommended)
Once your account is deleted, all site data, including backups, will be permanently lost. Ensure you download backups for any sites you want to keep.
Delete All Sites in Your Account (required)
Any websites associated with your account must be deleted before you can cancel subscriptions and proceed with account deletion.
Cancel All Active Subscriptions (required)
Ensure all subscriptions linked to your account are canceled. This step is necessary to complete the deletion process.
Review Deletion Consequences (recommended)
Understand that deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All data, sites, and team access will be removed immediately.
Steps for Deleting Your Account
Step 1: Log in to Your Rapyd Cloud Dashboard
Access your Rapyd Cloud account by logging in to the Rapyd Cloud Dashboard.
In the top-right corner of the main navigation menu, click on Edit account.
Step 2: Locate the Delete Account Button
Scroll to the bottom of the Account details section.
Click the Delete account button.
Step 3: Cancel Active Subscriptions (if necessary)
If you have active subscriptions, a modal will appear prompting you to cancel them. Learn more about canceling subscriptions here: How to Cancel a Subscription.
Important: We highly recommend downloading backups for all sites before proceeding, as this data cannot be recovered after account deletion.
Step 4: Review Important Deletion Details
Before proceeding, review the information in the modal carefully:
Your account and all personal information will be permanently deleted.
All sites in your account will go offline immediately.
All site data, including files and backups, will be permanently deleted.
Team members will lose access to your team.
Step 5: Confirm Account Deletion
Enter your Rapyd Cloud account password in the input field provided.
Click Delete my account to finalize the process.
Once this step is completed, your Rapyd Cloud account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.
