We know that learning the ins and outs of a new hosting provider can be a challenge, so we've put together a list of some questions that we find our customers asking. If your question isn't answered below, try searching our Knowledge Base for an answer or simply reach out to our support team via the dashboard support widget or by sending an email to [email protected]!

Billing & Account

How much will I be charged per month for Rapyd?

The monthly charge for Rapyd depends on the plan that you choose. Each plan can have one website, and they can be paid for either monthly or yearly. Keep in mind that you get two months free for yearly plans.

See our plans and pricing here.

Are there any extra charges except the server cost?

On Rapyd, you pay your monthly or yearly plan plus any add-ons or overages. So, if you do not have any add-ons or overages, then you'll simply pay for your plan.

We offer enhanced support add-ons, and overages are applied when you exceed your plan's limitations.

What payment methods do you support?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

Does Rapyd provide refunds?

Yes, your satisfaction is paramount. If our services don't meet your expectations, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, extended to 30 days for those who signed up during the beta period.

Is there a way to change the email address in my account?

We prioritize account security, and any changes to the email address will be facilitated exclusively by our support team. Please reach out to our support team from your dashboard and they'll be happy to assist you.

Websites & Platform

Do you offer free website migrations?

Yes, we offer free website migrations. Check out our knowledge base guide on requesting managed migrations to learn more.

Do you provide free SSL certificates?

Yes, Rapyd understands the imperative need for SSL in today's online ecosystem. Every website hosted with Rapyd comes equipped with an SSL certificate provisioned by ZeroSSL.

What plan does Rapyd recommend?

Every site is unique, so we can't to make blanket plan recommendations. Considering this, we recommend reaching out to our team via live chat at rapyd.cloud. There, we'll be able to learn a bit more about your setup and needs so we can make a more accurate recommendation.

How many websites can I put on one plan?

To maximize your website’s available resources, we only allow one (1) website per plan. If you'd like a smaller plan that isn't designed for resource-intensive sites, consider our Developer or Lite plans, which are better suited for development sites or landing pages.

Do you offer free staging websites so I can test site edits before making them on my live site?

Yes - every Rapyd plan includes a free staging environment for your testing purposes. Lear more here: Introduction to Staging Environments

Does your platform support WHM, Cpanel or File Manager?

We offer our management dashboard and have no plans to support WHM or Cpanel. Our dashboard has a number of features and tools designed to make managing your sites with us as easy as possible. You can learn more here: Managing Your Rapyd Account

Can I upgrade and downgrade my server size as needed?

You are able to instantly upgrade or downgrade your plans on Rapyd at any time and your account will be either charged or credited immediately. However, there are some limitations that are important to consider:

  • Monthly Subscriptions

You can downgrade to a level within the same plan, but you cannot step down to an entirely different plan type. For example, Startup Level 3 to Startup Level 1 is okay, but Startup Level 1 to Developer is not possible. This is due to technical limitations related to disk space, as we can add disk space to plans, but we cannot remove it.

  • Yearly Subscription

We do not offer downgrades for yearly subscriptions. However, if you believe that a downgrade on a yearly subscription is absolutely necessary, please contact our support team via live chat or at [email protected] to discuss options.

Remember, you can always check out our knowledge base or reach out to our support team if you still have questions or concerns!
