Technical specs
In this section, we describe the technical specs of each of our plans. Each plan is built around the following variables:
Estimated traffic
An estimate of how much traffic your site can handle in a month before incurring overages. This number can be affected by the number of visitors you have on your site concurrently, as well as how often each page needs to interact with the server. For one-off periods of high-demand, we offer cost-effective boosts to temporarily increase your plan's resources.
vCPUs
Virtual Central Processing Units are software-based, virtual representations of a physical CPU that exist within a virtual machine. The beauty of vCPUs is that they provide incredible flexibility when it comes to resource allocation and allow for more efficient utilization of hardware.
Built on top of Amazon m7a instances, Rapyd offers a reserved number of vCPUs that can dynamically scale in real-time based on the needs of your website or mobile app.
RAM (Memory)
This is used to temporarily store website files and scripts, database queries, active user sessions, and much more, all with the end goal of ensuring optimized performance. Each plan has dynamically scalable memory that provides consistently fast loading times, improved user experience, and proper handling of traffic spikes.
Max. PHP workers
This is the maximum number of simultaneous requests that your website can handle. At Rapyd, our infrastructure provides a generous amount of high-performing PHP workers that can automatically scale with the demands of your site's visitors, which keeps your site snappy even at periods of peak traffic.
Site storage
The total amount of storage you have available for storing files on your server. Can be increased by purchasing an add-on.
Backup storage
The total amount of storage you have available for your site backups. Backups are created incrementally, meaning each backup does not need be the full size of your site. Can be increased by purchasing an add-on.
Network bandwidth
Total allowance of data transfer per month. If surpassed, overages will be charged.
Free CDN
All of our plans have unlimited CDN usage.
