Important Tech Terms

Each Rapyd plan is defined by a set of scalable technical limits designed for high-performance WordPress hosting. Here’s what each spec means:

Estimated Traffic
An approximate monthly traffic range your plan is built to support. It accounts for total visits, concurrency, and how often your pages hit the server. Temporary traffic spikes can be handled with optional resource boosts.

vCPUs
Virtual CPUs (vCPUs) are software-defined CPU cores allocated to your environment. They allow flexible, real-time resource scaling. Rapyd uses Amazon m7a instances to ensure consistent performance.

RAM (Memory)
RAM temporarily stores processes like database queries, scripts, and user sessions. All plans include dynamically scalable memory to support fast load times and traffic surges.

Max. PHP Workers
The number of PHP requests your site can process at the same time. Rapyd plans include high-performing PHP worker limits that scale with demand, helping your site stay responsive under load.

Site Storage
SSD storage used for WordPress files and core services. You can expand storage with paid add-ons.

Backup Storage
Storage for automated daily backups. Rapyd uses incremental backups to conserve space. Backup storage is also upgradeable.

Network Bandwidth
Monthly data transfer included with your plan. Overages apply if limits are exceeded.

Free CDN
All Rapyd plans include unlimited use of our global CDN to accelerate content delivery.

Tech Specs for All Plans

All Rapyd plans use dynamic resource ranges—vCPUs, RAM, and PHP workers automatically scale within each plan’s limits to meet demand and ensure consistent performance.
