Managing team member roles and permissions is essential for maintaining control over your account's security, billing, and site management. This guide outlines the various roles available, the permissions associated with each role, and how to customize these permissions to suit your team’s needs.
Overview of Roles
Administrator
Permissions: Full access to all areas of the dashboard, including user management, billing, and site management across all sites in the account.
Special Notes: Only the account owner can delete the account. Administrators can assign and manage other team members’ roles and permissions.
Billing Manager
Permissions: Access to manage subscriptions, view team members, download invoices, and change payment details. They can only access sites specifically assigned to them.
Special Notes: Billing Managers do not have full site management capabilities unless additional permissions are granted.
Member
Permissions: Can access sites assigned to them and view other team members. They do not have access to billing or account-wide settings.
Special Notes: Members have limited control and primarily focus on the content and management of assigned sites.
Guest
Permissions: Restricted to viewing and managing only the sites assigned to them. Guests cannot access any team member or billing information.
Special Notes: Ideal for external collaborators or temporary users needing limited access.

Best Practices for Role Assignment:
Limit Administrator Access: Only assign the Administrator role to trusted individuals who need full access.
Billing Manager Role: Assign this role to team members responsible for financial oversight.
Use Guest Role for Limited Access: Assign the Guest role for users who need minimal access, such as clients or contractors.
