CPU usage statistics are typically measured as a percentage of the total CPU capacity of the cloud computing instance. This percentage is calculated by dividing the amount of time that the CPU is actively processing instructions by the total amount of time that the CPU is idle or waiting for instructions.

RAM usage statistics are typically measured as a percentage of the total available RAM of the cloud computing instance. This percentage is calculated by dividing the amount of RAM the system uses by the total amount of RAM available to the system. These statistics can also be collected using cloud provider-specific monitoring software or third-party monitoring solutions.

The allocation and utilization of CPU and RAM resources are often provisioned using virtualization technologies. Virtualization allows multiple instances to share a server’s resources, while also providing isolation and security between instances.
