An overview page is a pivotal component within any dashboard, serving as the cornerstone of user-friendliness and simplicity in design. In this context, we'll take a detailed tour of the Rapyd Dashboard's overview page to understand its layout and appearance.

Why Overview Page of A Dashboard is Important

The Overview Page of a dashboard is crucial because it provides a snapshot of key information and functionalities in one place. It allows users to quickly access essential data, monitor performance, and navigate to specific sections, streamlining the management process and saving valuable time.

Explore the Overview Page of the Rapyd Dashboard

Step 1: Log in to the Rapyd Dashboard

Login to the Rapyd dashboard by entering your email address and password after completing the Registration process. Next click "Login" to access the dashboard.

Step 2: Select the Desired Website

Then choose the desired website from the Sites tab which one you want to explore, if you have multiple websites, use the Search bar to find the specific one.

Once you choose a website from the Rapyd Dashboard (e.g., Aviation Leaders), you'll see an Overview page.

This page displays graphs and different options, creating a comprehensive visual layout.

If we separate the Overview page segments into two major portions, there will be a left-side menu and the other parts will be a right-side screen.

Exploring the Left Side Menu

In the left side menu, there will be various options to explore.

Below, you'll find concise descriptions of all the available options. For more detailed information, please refer to Rapyd's knowledge base, which provides comprehensive documentation.

Production / Staging

In the Overview menu, the initial option is a dropdown set to "Production" by default. You can select between "Production" and "Staging" from here, enabling you to switch between your live and development sites on the Rapyd dashboard.

WordPress (Version Management and WP_DEBUG)

You can upgrade or downgrade your website's WordPress Version and active WP_DEBUG within a few clicks.

Theme ( Management and Update)

View your installed themes with their names, current status, and installed versions. Easily update themes with a dedicated button or change the version with the theme management key.

Plugins ( Management, Update and More)

Select plugin types from Plugins, Must-use, and Drop-ins before updating their versions. View installed plugin names, statuses, and versions. Each plugin has its dedicated update and rollback button. Manage plugins collectively or individually through the Rapyd dashboard.

Apps ( iOS, Android, Site Connection and Development)

Enhance your app with custom features and functionality for both iOS and Android platforms. Utilize the Developer Toolkit and leverage the site connecting capabilities, both primary and secondary, available within the segment.

Stats ( for Traffic, CPU and RAM)

Get visual insights into website traffic, CPU usage, and RAM statistics for different time frames: one hour, 24 hours, one week, and one month. Additionally, view your plan details and backup storage information.

Tools (Multiple Options Including PHP, Logs, Database, Delete, Cron)

Within the Tools section, you'll discover a plethora of sub-options, including Domains, Server, Logs, File Access, File Manager, Database, PHP, Cache, Cron, Delete, and more. Each of these options has its own dedicated page, offering a range of distinct functionalities.

Exploring the Right Side Portion

Web Access Portion

When you navigate to the right-hand section of the Rapyd Dashboard, you'll find the website's name along with a direct link to access the WP Admin panel of the site. You can also instantly visit the website via the provided web link.

Stats

While there's a dedicated "Stat" option on the left-side menu, you'll also notice a highlighted statistics section below the website information. Here, you can click the "View Stats" button to access detailed statistical reports. Just below these options, you'll find the Traffic graph.

Scrolling down a bit further, you'll come across segments displaying CPU, RAM, Plan Storage, and Backup Storage, each accompanied by numerical indicators.

Towards the bottom of the page, you'll find information about the Production environment, including the website's creation date, year, and time, region, production and staging domain addresses, as well as the current WordPress and PHP versions used by the website.

When you click on the options in the left-side menu or other selections, the right-side portion will reveal the features and functionalities of each segment.

In Summary

The Rapyd Dashboard's Overview Page streamlines website management. Once you log in and choose your website, the left menu provides options for production settings, WordPress management, theme and plugin control, app enhancements, statistics, and various tools.
