Process of Troubleshooting WordPress Plugins with Rapyd Dashboard

When your WordPress site breaks, the culprit is often an installed Plugin. To rectify this issue, follow the steps outlined below to troubleshoot your WordPress site using Rapyd Dashboard.

Step 1: Log in to the Rapyd Dashboard

Login to the Rapyd dashboard by entering your email address and password after completing the Registration process. Next click "Login" to access the dashboard.

Step 2: Select the Desired Website

Once logged in, select your desired website from the Cloud app. If you have multiple websites, use the search bar to find the one you need.

Then choose the desired website from the Sites tab to Manage WordPress Plugin of your Website (Here we are using Aviation Leaders as an example) If you have multiple websites, use the Search bar to find the specific one.

Step 3: Navigate to the Plugins Option

Now click on Plugins option from the left menu and enter the new screen.

Step 4: Understand the Plugins Page

The Plugins page displays all of your installed Plugins. This page offers various functions that allow you to perform different tasks related to your Plugins. For more information on these features, check out the blog post: Managing WordPress Plugins on Your Rapyd Dashboard.

Step 5: Deactivate all of the Plugins

To determine if a Plugin is causing the issue, first, Load your webpage to check its current status. Then, return to the Rapyd Dashboard.

Select all of your installed active Plugins by ticking the box beside Plugin.

Then choose Deactivate option from the Bulk actions dropdown menu. Finally hit Apply to complete the action.

After this, reload your WordPress site again. If now the site is working properly, then it is likely a Plugin causing the issue.

Step 6: Activate and Deactivate Plugins One by One

To identify the problematic Plugin, return to the Rapyd Dashboard and reactivate your installed Plugins one at a time. To activate each Plugin choose the Plugin by tick marking the box below the Plugin name.

Now click Activate from the dropdown menu and press Apply.

After each activation, Refresh your webpage. If your site breaks again, the last Plugin you activated is likely causing the issue.

Step 7: Remove or Rollback the Plugin with Error

Once you've identified the problematic Plugin, you can either delete it or deactivate it. Alternatively, you could Rollback the Plugin to a previous version. This could resolve the issue if it was caused by a recent update to the Plugin.

To do so, select the Plugin and click on the Rollback icon.

Now, If you want to Re install the current version of the plugin click on the “Reinstall” button. But if you choose any previous version that you wish to install then the button name will automatically change into Rollback. Simply hit the Rollback button from the pop-up screen.

Another popup will appear where you have to click confirm to rollback.

What if You Cannot Access Your Site from Admin Panel Due to a Plugin Error?

In some cases, a Plugin error may prevent you from accessing your WordPress admin dashboard. This could potentially bring down your entire WordPress site.

To troubleshoot Plugin-related issues, traditionally, you would need to access the FTP File Manager, possibly with the help of a developer. However, by using the Rapyd Dashboard, you can conveniently resolve such issues without needing to access your Rapyd admin panel.

Conclusion

Troubleshooting WordPress Plugins doesn't have to be a daunting task. With Rapyd Dashboard, you can easily identify and resolve Plugin issues, saving you time and the need for developer assistance.
